Shania Twain to headline Boots and Hearts festival in Vermont

Country music superstar Shania Twain has been announced as the headliner for the 2019 Boots and Hearts festival, which this year marked the 20th anniversary of the music festival, which is held in two venues in Vermont’s Burren Mountain State Park. Twain has become a popular festival draw, as she headlined the inaugural event in 1999 and returned to the stage in 2011.

The festival’s aim is to offer music fans a unique festival experience: camping and listening to music are part of the festival, but attendees have access to indoor venues as well. A line-up for the 2019 festival will be announced in January.

Twain made her iconic debut in 1993 with her album Come On Over, and quickly became one of the biggest hits of the decade. Her most recent album, Now, released in 2017, reached No 1 in 32 countries. She has won 11 Grammys, five of which are for her albums Now and Up!

Boots and Hearts also kicks off the summer music festival season, which begins in mid-March with Toulouse Rocks, in Toulouse, Texas, and sees the “America’s Got Talent” edition of the Thrills festival in Nashville, Tennessee. In April, The Chainsmokers, Jason Aldean, and Greta Van Fleet will appear in Austin, Texas; Reba McEntire will headline Oak Mountain Amphitheatre, and Aerosmith, the Killers, Tyler Farr, and Brett Young will appear at Michigan’s Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.
