Jeffrey Lord, Jim Inhofe On Saudi-US Relationship

When you’re a a sitting president, you sometimes have to play nice with statesmen.

Jeffrey Lord, immigration and immigration reform commentator, and Jim Inhofe, Oklahoma senator and senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces joined Kilmeade & Friends to discuss President Trump’s relationship with Saudi King Salman, and what the trip could mean for the balance of power in the Middle East. Jeff said that a lot of people have changed over the last few decades but that King Salman remains true to the Saudi legacy of a “diplomatic leader.” Inhofe added that the power that the US has carried with it for the last 90 plus years is what made it possible for these two countries to reach a number of common interests. Jeff pointed out that one thing that President Trump has done is have a lighter touch.
